Years and years, civilization has been present, giving humans a chance to structure a society that it is believed to be ideal. But what does this ideal society come to hold? Mostly expectations, and barriers from one identifying themselves for the individual they are. How does society do this? With none other than social statuses, classes, giving importance to reputation, and placing expectations on one. Rules in society are beneficial to guide those who are lost, and to maintain order and peace, but at times rules and expectations can be barriers that limit one's potential and does not give way for one's wants. An individual needs the opportunity to pave their own pathways and explore the world, without being confined and succumbing to the pressures of society following the path they are told is the right one.
